What does this do?
This program updates the CLIÉ Organizer for PC application and resolves HotSync® operation issues that occur when there are more than 2,000 entries in Date Book, Address, To Do List or Memo Pad.
Important Notes
During the installation of this update, be sure that you are logged in as the Administrator or as a user with Administrative rights. Confirm that your PC is configured to be able to perform a HotSync® operation.
To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
It is highly recommended to print out these instructions as a reference during the installation process.
Download and Installation Instructions
Navigate to the directory where to INST_COPCONDUIT101.EXE was downloaded.
Double-click the INST_COPCONDUIT101.EXE file to begin the installation process.
At the "Welcome..." screen, click Next.
At the "Ready to install the program" screen, click Install.
At the "InstallShield Wizard Complete" screen, click Finish.
The installation is complete.
Confirm a Successful Installation
These steps may vay by operating system.
Click the My Computer icon.
At the "My Computer" window, click "Local Disk (C)."
At the "Local Disk (C)" window, click to open the "Program Files" directory.
At the "Program Files" window, click to open the "Sony Handheld" directory.
At the "Sony Handheld" window, on the menubar across the top, click View, and then click Details.
Click View again, and then click "Choose Details."
At the "Choose Details" window, click to check the box next to "File Version" and then click OK. A new column titled "File Version" will appear in the directory listing.
Scroll down the list and confirm that the version numbers are as follows:
- CopConduitAddress.dll
1.1.40301.1
- CopConduitMemo.dll
1.1.40301.1
- CopConduitSchdUnite.dll
1.1.40301.1
- CopConduitToDo.dll
1.1.40301.1
Tap the "Done" button to exit. NOTE: If the version numbers do not match the above list, please download the INST_COPCONDUIT101.EXE file and install it again
